Chartis Insurance Launches New Brand
November 26 - Chartis Insurance, well known in the industry for its
quality general insurance products, has announced that its travel businesses
across the world will begin operating until one brand name - Travel Guard.
The Travel Guard brand will incorporate all travel sales and operations,
including in South Africa.
A new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Travel Guard, Jeffrey C.
Rutledge, has been named.
"Previously, Chartis used a number of different brands for its travel
insurance products and services worldwide," said the Regional Travel Manager for
Chartis Africa, Thamsanqa Ndebele.
"Over the coming months, Travel Guard will transition its brand, logo and
marketing to reflect its relationship with Chartis," continued Ndebele. "This
will create a more integrated global organization that will benefit all
stakeholders."
Chartis is a group that was created as spin off from AIG Inc. earlier this
yar.
The new Travel Guard brand offers South Africans a number of quality
products, including those tailor made for different types of travellers such as
students, business people and leisure travellers.
Travel Guard also offers credit cards top ups.
"Travel Guard helps millions of individual travellers and corporate clients
solve problems and manage risks," said Ndebele.
"Our global reach and proven operational capabilities ensure that clients
receive unparalleled service quality and best in class care," it was added.
