MiWay Insurance
MiWay Insurance is a new generation South African insurance company that
offers tailored short-term insurance solutions. Its offers home insurance and
vehicle insurance. Each category has a range of different insurance solutions,
depending on your needs. No matter which insurance products you opt for, you
always get the three main MiWay benefits. These are: low premiums; loyalty
rewards, whether you claim or not; and free emergency assistance. The company`s
down-to-earth approach is clearly aimed at simplifying insurance for the man in
the street, reflected, for example, in the more casual naming of its products,
which will surely strike a chord with the average consumer.
MiWay Insurance offers a range of home insurance products. Firstly,
there`s MiHome Stuff, which covers all household contents. This includes all the
possessions of those living in your house with you. It also includes all items
on your property, whether they are in the main house or not. You can take
extended theft cover on this insurance as well, if you travel frequently and
your home does not meet the minimum security requirements for the cover. You can
also take extended personal liability cover for incidents that may occur on your
property. MiPlace covers your property`s permanent structures, plus fittings and
fixtures. Here you can also add extended theft and personal liability cover, as
well as extended geyser and pipe cover. Then there`s MiMovables, which insures
your everyday items that you take out of your home on a daily basis, like cell
phones or jewellery. You can take blanket cover or individual cover for specific
expensive items.
On the motor insurance side, MiWay offers private and business car insurance,
covering everything from passenger vehicles and motorbikes to caravans and light
delivery vehicles. You can insure at market or retail value and there are a
number of add-on products on offer. These include cover for sound equipment and
accessories, and car hire when your car is being repaired. MiValueProtector pays
an extra 10% if your car is hijacked or written off, so that you have money for
a deposit on a new car immediately, and MiCreditShortfall pays you the
difference between your main insurance payout and what you still owe on your
car, if you find yourself under-insured. You can also get extended liability
insurance on your vehicle policy.
