Nedcor Insurance offers insurance products in 5 broad categories, which are pretty much the standard insurance categories in the market: home insurance, vehicle and asset insurance, travel insurance, life and disability insurance and credit protection and allied assurance. These products are primarily offered through the network of Nedbank insurance brokers.

Home insurance is in the form of comprehensive home owner`s cover. It is a basic all-risks form of cover, with optional additional insurance available. The main benefits include replacement value cover, optional subsidence cover, protection against loss of rent or the cost of alternative accommodation, as well as the fees charged by professionals such as architects and repairman required to restore your building in the event of an accident.

Vehicle and asset insurance is provided by the comprehensive motor insurance package. This is a 24-hour claims policy, allowing you to report and get assistance at any time you need it. There are also discounts available for any security measures that you install yourself, and free radio cover up to R2000. You also enjoy SASRIA cover against loss or damage due to riots and strikes.

Travel insurance is free on purchasing travel tickets using a Nedbank credit card. There is also additional insurance available in add-on form.

There is also the NedExcel comprehensive insurance plan which covers house and outbuildings, household contents, personal effects, motor vehicle, boat caravan and trailer, as well as car hire cover.

There is also an accidental death and disability plan as well as funeral cover offered.
