Zurich Insurance Company South Africa Limited provides insurance products in the individual, commercial and corporate lines. It has regional offices all around the country, as well as in Botswana and Zimbabwe. It is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and is fully BEE compliant, with 10% of ownership vested in Royal Bafokeng Finance (Pty) Limited. It further complies with the Financial Sector Charter by being involved in corporate social investment, and investing in enterprise development and empowerment financing at the behest of its empowerment partner.

Zurich Insurance Company offers a variety of insurance products to individuals, in particular motor vehicle insurance, home insurance and accident insurance. Its commercial and corporate products provide a wide range of cover for all businesses, with speciality emphasis on aviation, marine, engineering and general business risk financing.

Aside from these general products, there are also tailored products available. Examples are Bnb Sure (bed & breakfast and guesthouse insurance), Collectibles (insurance for precious collectible items), Cross Country (insurance for 4x4s and accessories), Cyclesure (insurance for cyclists), Flexiflite (a combination of business and household insurance in one policy) and Liquid (small commercial business insurance).

There are also specialist insurance products on offer - these are industry specific. The aviation insurance product covers all insurance needs of aircraft owners, be they small aircraft, jet aircraft, vintage aircraft, micro lights or hot air balloons. The engineering insurance package can be tailored to meet the needs of all types of engineering endeavours. Finally, the marine insurance package covers sea freight, as well as air freight and other means of goods transportation - road, rail and even post.

Auxiliary services provided by Zurich include motor assessment centres which are one stop claims services for vehicles that have been in an accident, and Zurich Assist, which includes personal health assistance, tax assistance, household maintenance assistance and legal assistance.
